Bryan Clendenin and Stacy Claude play in a bluegrass band based in Asheville, NC called Dehlia Low and I was lucky enough to catch one of their shows in Gerton, NC over the summer of 2009. They played in the Gerton Community Center and was the ideal place to hear some awesome bluegrass music on a beautiful summer night with the smell of barbeque in the air and children running around outside. If you have a chance to see Dehlia Low I highly recommend doing so. A friend of theirs who ended up officiating the ceremony announced that evening that Bryan and Stacy were going to tie the knot in a couple of months. On my way out I handed them one of my business cards and discovered they had not yet secured the services of a wedding photographer. Lucky me! Bryan and Stacy chose The Farm in Candler for their wedding ceremony and reception venue. I have photographed several weddings there and this was yet again another great wedding with wonderful families and friends and a rustic setting. I was very impressed with the new cabins that they have built on the premises that the wedding party can rent. Very nice details throughout. Definitely check them out if you get a chance. The Farm is only ten minutes from downtown Asheville. So you can enjoy a rustic wedding experience and yet be well within striking distance to Asheville's vibrant arts, music, and restaurant scene as well.
I just wanted to show a few of my favorite images from their wedding. It was a beautiful day for a wedding and they added a lot of personal touches.
